Alright, heres the deal, little by little i am getting more money into my car, and i need a better and more reliable alarm. I dont really care for the alarms that alert you to when its being f**ked with, altough if thats what you recommend fine. Here's my prob, my current alarm is a piece of shit, you shake the car and the alarm wont go off, you open the hood, arm the car, slam the hood shut and it goes off like 4 seconds later, if not at all, i open the car with the key, while its still armed and nothing. I need something that will work, and will go off when the door is opened while still armed, when the hood is slameed, while the car is shaken, something reliable, what should i go with??

I just got my alarm put in, and i got a simple one because all i need is an alarm for security because i got my sound system in my car. for it for $200 installed! Works just like factory but with alarm security its pretty bad ass and simple. The alarm is called "Code Alarm" also the reason why i got this simple alarm is because i cant get no fancy one with the car starter and all that fancy crap because my car is a 6-spd and its not really recommended for a manual shift car!

Just build your own. A few tin cans and a string does the trick.
I'm just a crosshair I'm just a shot away from you

i have a clifford two way and i love it . on top of that i added a motion sensor. the whole thing cost me a little bit over 700.00 but it's worth it. before i had the factory one and my car was fucked up three times because that damm thing didn't go off when it was supposed to. i was tired of having to pay the 250.00 deductible. i decided to put that alarm and since then i had no problems. the only downside is that the motion sensor drains the battery. i just changed my old one( thank god the technician that took care of me that day put it under warranty even though the warranty had expired just few days earlier. my advise go fo it. it's pricey but worth every single dime
