you gotta go by the vents and get them put in by a bodyshop.

I guess the vents will help cool my yamaha engine I have hidden in my rear hatch that exhausts clean air so I can pass smog...j/k.

I'm pretty sure the vents are non-functional.

well having an extra motocycle engine in my hatch, which I can remove will let me basically have a race engine up front and not have to worry about smog...

You can make them functional, all you need is some plastic tubing & route the tubing to whatever you want the outside air to cool.
