Heres my new toy, 1992 MR2 Turbo, bought it for 5k with 50k miles on it, 3S-GTE motor, with HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve, Magnecor wires, Bosch Platinum Spark Plug Wires and Apexi High Flow Filter, my next mod is Apexi exhaust.

Car is now running 7psi, 200 hp, i have a manual boost controller that can go 14psi with stock internals, talk about 250 whp!

Plans are, new paint job, new sunroof since its cracked, might upgrade the Turbo with a CT20b and top mount intercooler, 540cc injectors and Greaddy Fuel Management.

How'd you get it for $5,000, thats crazy! Around me they are all $7,000-$9,000.

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10

I bought my Turbo from RevHard, theyre legit and been around for along time already, their Turbos are legit, i have a T3/T4 Garett Turbo, i love the Garett's, they last for a long long time.

The reason i got the MR2 coz i need a second car, my celica will be down for a week coz of the Turbo installation and i need another baby with power anyways. I got the car for 5k coz it was a friendly prize and he needed the money coz hes leaving hawaii. he pretty much spent extra 2k to preserve/fix/maintain the car. changed all gaskets and seals.

i love the car everytime it passes 2500 rpm, the Turbo kicks in and blow off valve is just so loud! eek

cant wait to hear that on my Celi Baby! thumbsup

ill keep you guys updated wave

hahaha around me they are around 20 000 $

For a new one, I'm talking about the older ones. I like the old body style more than the new one.

Yes there are kits for them, the best ones enhance the looks of the stock lines; make it even better. So if you don't like the stock look *shrug* the worst ones are ones that end giant gaping mouths, etc etc. You know honda civic type stuff. But a lot of people like them.. even on 7th gens confused

Nice price for the MR2, block has a lot of potential.
I think your celica might be away a bit longer than a week when I look at custom-turbo install times, but who cares when you have a 200-250 whp mr2 at hand smile
I wish it was the end of the month.. that's my time..
6 psi is coming...

thanks guys! happywink

if you wanna check out revhard heres the website http://www.revhard.com/ at this moment, i think their web is down for some reason, revhard has been around for a long time now.

for me though, the MK2 MR2s are really nice lookin compared to the MK3s, the MK3s looks nice when you work on the body, like the Lotus Elise rear convertion kit for it, the MK2's are what they call the Ferrari's in Japan spineyes, just a nice drop, rims and custom paint job is good to go.

I like the MK2's coz of their potential, the 3S-GE's VVT-i is badass too, all 3S motors have a lot of potential.

MK1's are equiped with the 4A-GE motors, lucky if you also can find a 4A-GZE which is supercharged thumbsup

on the 6th Generation Celica, i love them, most specially the 3S-GTE All Trac version!
