You might also want to check your wiring, if you're running high power through shitty wires you might need a new wiring harness or something cus a wire could be dead, also check the fuses maybe. But if your headunit is on warranty take it to where you bought it and have them look at it and maybe give you a new one.

well the thing is, the place I bought it at closed down... My bass is fine, my wiring is fine, it was for the longest time then one day I say my display deteriorate more and more each day... day by day the graphics would get more weird and slowly more and more buttons would cease to function... so I know the unit is just plain suffering and I should put it out of its misery  with a new and imporved one

Up to you man, if you get a new headunit make sure it's not a sony, i hate sony and all of their car audio products and so do many of my friends

yeah I never purchased their speakers, I never liked their sound, but I was ok with their headunits untill now...  prob go with alpine or eclipse
