what do you guys think I should go with here? I love both of these rims and I can't decide. Matrix shadow 17's with 235 40 17 tires or helo slick chrome rims with 205 40 17 tires. the 205 are a lower profile aren't they? either set is going to cost me about a $1000 so I need some input, my car isn't dropped but I do have a molly designs kit also. I am also interested in if the chrome rims will way a lot more?

I like the chrome ones myself. They will be heavier though, if that really matters to you.

yeah Chrome is heavier lol I had my rim's on my old bike chromed once.. it gained an amzing 115 gram's !! damn lost atleast 200 hp because of that LOL chrome rimm's are normal rim's with a VERY VERY VERY tin layer of chrome on it wich way's hardly anything.. so .. just choose the best looking one.. I'd go for the chrome

Chorme is heaver cause it can only be applied to steel and some other heaver metals. Other aftermarket rims are made outa lighter materials like alm.

if yoru getting 235/40/17 it better be 8 inches wide.
if you get 205/40/17 then a 8 inch wheel is too wide.
and no 205 is not the profileit is the width. 40 is the series(PROFILE) it is the height in percent fo the width. i . e. 40 percent of 205 etc.
