I've been doing searches in all the forums back to July 2003 however I still havent found one single thread that guides you thru installation of external underbody neons. There are a few footwell installation guides, but does anyone know exactly how to wire in both of these to a single switch?
Please reply cos I've just bought the VARAD UL200 and 2x 12" footwell neons and having a wiring headache!
Thanks!

the thickness/size of the wire should be the same or a little thicker than the ones the neons comes with, in order to provide equal or less resistance

red - power
black - ground
thats all you need to know...
if you want a switch, splice it into the red wire...

helpful but not detailed i mean where to hide the wires, where to put them thru, how to screw/where to screw in the neons and it would be nice to see actual pics

it's not really that hard to hook up ur neon..for the undercar kit, you just need to jack up ur car, get a drill with a drill bit the size of the screws that came with the kit..and get something to mark the location of the tube you want it to be at..1 in front, 1 back, 2on the sides..after you get something to mark the place you want ur neon to be, drill the holes and use the screws and the hook thingy in the kit and screw the hook onto the car..after that you go and get some wires, use small size speaker wires if you have too and connect all the wire from the neon to the transformer..on the transfomer you should see 8small holes, 4positive and 4negative..red for positive black for ground..insert ur neon wires onto each desinated holes..ok coming out of the transformer you should see 2 more holes, 1 + and 1 -..power and ground..find a place away from water to mount ur transformer..depends if you want a switch or not, if you want a switch then splice the red wire(the one coming out of the transformer) and put the switch there..u can put the ground wire(also coming out of the transformer) anywhere you see a bolt, screw,nut..watever, or connect them on the negative terminal..run the wire thru the firewall and mount ur switch whereever pleases u..that's it..how car can that be..if you really don't want to run long wires from the back of the car to the front, i suggest you splice the wire from the neon that are on the back onto the neon on the side..then the side to the front, then the front onto the transformer, if you don't have a transformer it's ok too..just connect the wire from the front neon tube and make it long enuf to run it thru the firewall, onto a switch and a place for ground wire..voila!!! go do that.. ask if you have more question.
