Alright, I want to replace the speakers inside my celica and add a twelve. I was thinking Infinity Kappa series speakers and I'm not sure on the 12" yet. What kind of amp would I need? 2-channel? Multi-channel? Do I need a cap? Help me out here.

the infinity kappa series would be perfect for ur interior thumbsup

if ur goin for a single sub, dont need a cap, and get any good mono-block amp like JL Audio, Fosgate, Audiobahn... all depends on your budget and sound preferences

get a quality set of front components powered by a 2-channel amp and drive the sub with a mono...

- Infinity isn't bad, especially the perfect series, but listen to some others before you make the purchase. Try JL Audio, MB Quart, etc...

if you're only going one 12 depending on what it is you don't NEED a cap, but it would be nice if you've got the $$. To power just front components you could use something in the range of 300/2, but shit just amp em all and get a 300/4, depends on the speakers though. For the sub, you'll want a mono amp, one that is in the subs peak power range.
