hey guys (and girls ), my Intake finally arrived from Blitz and i was wondering if there are any helpful tips or advice you can give me on the install of it.
^ Dude, if you lived down here I'd install it for you
It's pretty easy, the hardest part is removing the stock box. Just go to the installs & it'll tell you how to remove the stock box. Installing the Blitz Intake only take 5-10 mins at the max. It's really easy, you just assembly everything before you connect it to the throtle body, it makes it a lot easier to slide everything in instead of having to wrestle w/it & trying to get the filter in.
man, i wish i lived down in St. George nice weather in the winter time instead of snow drifts and black ice. but we do get autoX up here though this and next sunday at the E-center
i'm gonna try to install it tomorrow and maybe do a road trip to calibrate the ECU.
also, is there a specific way for the MAF sensor to be oriented? like having the opening in the bottom, top, or sideways? as it seems pretty variable.
i just got it installed today. but after thinking about it for a while, i realized i ordered and paid for the Blitz LM ($180), but Blitz shipped me an SUS ($240) instead that free $60 dollar upgrade pretty much makes up for the month wait in my books
