Can anyone recommend the best way to clean the engine bay? I don't want to just spray it down with a hose because I know that will leave spots. The only thing I can think of is scrubbing evey part individually which I really don't want to do. Any suggestions?

Some car washes have engine degreaser buit into the dial. Spray it on & let it sit for a few & then power wash it!
I've done mine 5 or 6 times & nothing bad has happened yet.

man...i wanna clean my engine bay so bad.
anyone has an idea what parts under the hood i need to cover up? any pics would be appreciated!

Well, if you have a cold air Intake with an exposed air cleaner, I would wrap that in a plastic bag. Other than that, there is nothing you have to cover.
