Far as I know, it starts just before your rear wheels, includes the pipe form that point, muffler & the tip.

You gain maybe 1 horsepower, but it sounds cool.

how is it at all the same thing with just no welding? wtf TRD exhaust is just an axle back that replaces the muffler and tip. i used to have the TRD exhaust and i was dissapointed with it. now i have kazuma (a cat back exhaust) and ill tell you that when it comes to Performance there is no comparing the kazuma and TRD. with Intake and TRD i ran 15.9, with Intake and kazuma i ran 15.59.

The stock muffler connects to the main pipe just before the rear axle on the engine side. The TRD would obviously start the same place. And yes it is an easy bolt on mod.

8HP according to manufacturers, but that is BS. Third party (meaning people with nothing to gain or loose) dynos say about 1 horse. I would say the weight savings are probably pretty good though & the sound is cool.

Yah maybe 8 after you have done cold air, headers, Turbo & cat converter ... and its restricting flow.

If you believe all the horsepower ratings for the bolt on mods, you can get about 200 more hp without Turbo ... smoke crack, its a better dillusion. thumbsdown

Here, this is an example of a stock GT with TRD exhaust & cold air Intake. It compares AEM with Injen cold air. Its third party & impartial.

Yippee ... $1,000 for 2HP ...
