Magnaflow is the best quality muffler/exhaust you can buy, in GENERAL. I dont know about the exact specifics for the 7gc; but many professional racers swear by magnaflow. If you check on their website, there's a reason why many of the exhausts seem.. weird looking. Its cus they're not geared towards ricers with a billion fireball clones- they're doing it for Performance and they achieve.

As for sound, magnaflows sound awesome- better than a TRD exhaust IMHO. Until you actually open up the throttle, the magnaflow is actually REALLY quiet- so it's totally safe for street driving by cops and doesn't need a silencer. Open her up, and it's a nice deep non ricy roar.

yeah, magnaflows have a nice sound. my friend's stealth has magnaflows and it is real deep and throaty (granted out of a V6 it is naturally going to sound deeper)

From what i have heard magnaflow makes the exhaust for TRD, so if that gives you any idea what the quality is like. I have heard nothing but good things from magnaflow.

^^^everyone hears lots of crap because people say borla made their exhaust so who cares...anyways i found a great deal on magnaflows for either GT/GTS so if anyone is looking for one this is the cheapest place...other places i found had them for $500 magnaflow [proficientperformance.com]

well there's a difference between the catback and the weld on magaflow...I just posted a lot on this yesterday I think. It's a lot cheaper to get the weld on muffler w/ tip.

ok here's the thread:

I don't buy anything but Japanese parts for my GTS. I mean, you have a japanese car...why buy American made parts? Why does a 8 foot tall Wookie live with 3 feet tall Ewoks? It does not make any sense! confused

To JDM Celica:

I buy whatever I believe is the best quality and am not swayed by origin. If I have to combine parts from different continents to create my baby, so be it. My car is also a reflection of me. Whatever race I am I keep but I am also influenced and unique because of the surroundings and other cultures around me. Let the celica in Japan be a pure Japanese celica, but my celica is a Japanese-American celica.

I have the magnaflow cat-back, and I wouldn't go any other way...its damn near silent at idle, and when you get on it, it stays deep...not a low, droning humm, but a deep grrrr...I'm getting the program and equipment to convert some of my video's over to Mpeg format, and soon I'll post a video I made of my magnaflow vs TSRM vs Kazuma...so everyone will have a way to gauge what they want, based on the video and their personal tastes.
