Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Celica with center muffler sighting today...opinions?

Either the bumper was made for it or he cut a hole for the muffler. I couldn't tell since it was far away. I'm not sure what to think on how it looks... Maybe it just takes getting used to or is there beauty in the asymmetry of having a muffler to one side? What do you guys think? Also do you think there are any big power gains of a straight pipe to the back as opposed to a straight pipe that slants to the right a little and then goes straight again?

I dunno but I dislike center muffler placing because it looks like the car is pooping something out. But that is just me. Others might like it better.

Sounds ghetto to me,the only car I know of with center exhaust is the porsche boxster or whatever, but it look rights on that

I don't know bout US but here in Holland and I believe the rest of europe you can get a Sport Exaust as option for you're celica when you buy it it has a double exaust wich both come out trough the middle..

If done clean I think it would be very nice looking but dual tips not one big poop hole

i personally like dual exhausts, but dual exhausts on the celi=no back pressure

stick with a solid old school look on the Celi, center exhaust looks like crap, most body kits are not design for that
