I just have a question. I have a '04 celica GT/Auto and I'm going to install a Turbo kit. It's either going to be an SF Turbo kit or a C2Power. Which would you guys recommend. My car has no mods.

SF kits is the best kit but you will wait ten years before they ship it to you. Turbo XS is best route i think... and C2gas is a guy from hungary or germany, can't remember which but he has sold one kit. He is not a shop owenr or anything I dont think. I would count that one out.

C2 is very proffesional... I'd trust these guys any day.. they are also making a special firmer tranny for the Celi so no more blowing trannys when you going maximum Performance.. these guys know what they're doing ! I'd go C2.. since SF is also waiting years :S

XS don't make Turbo for GT people.

o i'd go with SF because they are very popular with their service and product.

C2 looks very good too..but they're overseas..and would be the reason i don't wanna deal with them.

honestly that Turbo will be a waste of money on a auto, trade it for a manual then your set, if your serious about getting some gains on a Celi

XS isn't for GT
DA = teh sux0rz
SF = best over all(long wait)
C2 = #1 but you have to make an over seas deal frown

From Hungary. AND yes we did 1 USA GT wioth st2 kit pushing 270whp, but a plenty european, from Germany, Netherlands, England, and our GTS kit is now to be finished as we are doing a GTS st2 kit with ~350-400whp (BTW this is also from an American soldier). Thats why we started the tranny project cos that needs it. Actually we did the first strongets GT Turbo. Yes we are oversee But prices competetive even with shippin. And we DO have kits on stock.
We have coupleof other projects as well.
So Where do you get your "knowledge"? Visit The other CELICA Forum in the forced induction and ask around. You will have real answers there about kits.

I have heard good things about the SF, but I must suggest at least one mod...an exhaust with 3" diameter piping since you plan on forced induction (more air in) you need to let more air out.

I get my kicks on EC.

I happen to know C2Gas personally, we met a while ago and he will be doing my stage 1 very soon now. I fully trust him and have never met anyone so engaged with his product.
This is not kissing up with him, he is just a really nice and trustworthy person.

OK, which one is it. Can I or can't i put a Turbo kit on a '04 celica GT automatic transmission. According to "qbanprepster21", I can't add any of the Turbo kits because my car has DBW? If I can, which should i choose, SF, C2Power or is there another company that makes them for my car. Please be specific.

C2gas: Was the Turbo kit for the '04 celica GT for an Automatic Transmission or manual transmission?

They were manuals.
I would not deal with any other kits then SF or C2. Thats my wiev. As far as I have researched competitive companies I found SF the only reasonable. Take it easy, e-mail us and them and get a detailed offer.

only the 03+ GTS's have drive by wire throttle, not the GT. i know this because i own an 03 GT. so yes, you can install a Turbo on it.

the transmission has nothing to do with it. actually, automatic transmissions are sometimes better in certain applications because shifting in a manual transmission is not always quick enough and does not always let you land in the optimal range of the Turbo's powerband. for example, the auto supra TT is faster than the manual supra TT. N/A, auto definately sucks, but FI, its a whole different story..

guys i personally was considering a trubo kit as well and from day one when i started to deal with C2Gas regarding his lambo door kit, i have been also researching his Turbo kits. I personally would take gas's Turbo kit any day over any other kit. I know that his work is quality. I tested the prototype of gas's lambo door kit on my car and i can tell you that his workmanship is quality and from what i have learned and seen his knowledge is extensive and him and his team they do things right, and they don't stop till perfection is attained. I have seen dynos on the other thread and even came across two of his european customers w/ celicas that have his Turbo kit on cardomain and they were praising his workmanship. I would definitely trust C2gas and that's just my opinion!

now lgal_n_cindy you have an auto 04 gt. as far as i have heard that the 04 gt's have the dbw as the 03 gts's do. so i believe that currently there's no Turbo for ur car, however i would contact c2gas and ask him if he can anything for u. thumbsup
