hehe I already requested a chop for that.. I love targa roof's but I heard the Celica frame isn't firm enough to withstand it or something.. I'd love to have a new gen celica with targa roof hehe

nice idea tho saddy might me right with the frame. how about a celi with T tops? that would be a more secure way than targa top.

Any shop that does that is retarded.
It will destroy the structural integrity of the safety cage in the car.

the structural integrity of the celica would be diminished... as is our cars are already horrible un-safe and are considered instantaneous death traps in head on collisions... anyways, a T-top would be more secure, i think that'd look so fucking wierd... celica t-top?! anyways I'd just put a moonroof on if she just wants to be able to feel the breeze, it's so much easier

Yeah, any shop that does that will make her sign so much stuff. You could do it for a show car, but in an accident that stuffs DEAD. anyways, a T-top would be more secure. Actually, a t-top and a targa top would each be just as unsecure- it's not like there will be any structural bracing in the center divider. Furthermore, a ttop would just cause MORE flex points in the frame, so a targa might even be safer. I think on a targa tho, you run the risk of the back roof sagging down.

(Countless Hours went into the rendering of this picture, Programs such as Adobe Photoshop Pro, Microsoft Paint and Solitaire were used. No celicas were harmed during the production of this protoype. May the force be with you.)
And now...what you've been waiting for!!!

yeah...I'm pretty sure she'll spend it elsewhere, I'm trying to convince her to spend it on a bodykit. She wants the Varis Arising body kit >>>> arising body kit pic [ bulletproofautomotive.com] ...her problem is that she's got daddy's money and too much of it at that. their garage is this:a 2000 celica GT- 5-speed, a 2002 or 2003 corvette 50th anniversary convertible (not sure of the year, but I know its a newer bodied anniversary edition), 2X mitsubishi 3000GT Hardtop Spyder's(that's rigt, not one, but two!!!), a 2001 s10 extreme pickup, with full airbag suspension and 22's, a 1996 red Supra TT COUPE 6-speed,a 1999 pontiac grand am GTP supercharged, and a 2004 chevy silverado diesel tuned to 480 hp (and what's worse is they had an SRT-10, and traded it in for the silverado)...like I said TOO MUCH FUCKING MONEY!!!!!!!

Wow.. I wish I had those cars... but the way I see your kinda screwed and your precious car is f'ed if you roll or crash anyways, so you mise well spend your 5g's and chop it! thats just stupid. There's a difference between being injured in a roll, and dead because you choped your frame in half and the roof caved in on you.

with a rill cage it would be fine but then you ahve the added weight of a cage.
also soemoen said the celicas where extremely dangerous in accidents show me some proof.

Yeah not a good idea. I thougth about it at one time, and even got an estimate, but it would be over 10k just to make the frame strong enough to support the rest of the body.
