doesn't it come with silencer? well i heard even with the silencer its still too loud there is silencer for your pip. it goes between your header and beginning part of your exhaust its a three layer suppression and supposely it doesn't hurt at hp. And its suppose to get it down to 10 -5 decibels i forgot what the website is called. But try to look for that

dont you have to get like PowerFC or something?? cause the gains from the Kazuma are after a ECU is tunned to it

there is no question about the fact that kazuma makes WAY more hp gains than any other exhaust. thats a fact...if you want it quieter then you can put in your stock resonator, ive been thinking about doin this
was....5speed with i/h/e 15.41 @ 89.30mph 2.282 60'
is....04 srt4 stock 13.936 100.15mph 2.177 60'

I get my kicks on EC.

Dude, you've been warned that it's too freaking loud for street use & you only feel the hp gain in the high rmp range, which you're never in if you're driving from point A to point B on the street. You got what you paid for.

OK so wait a minute I'm about a week away from ordering my Kazuma. I have the HKS hyper exhaust. If is witch to the Kazuma will I feel less power than my current exhaust at low RPM's? Or will it feel the same and just get even more powerful at higher RPM's?
I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.

, thanks for all the great replies, so if i get my ECU tuned, i will get the hp that i 'deserved'?? hhhmmm... never heard of it, maybe because i'm a nerd... so, how do i get my ECU reset?? OK so wait a minute I'm about a week away from ordering my Kazuma. I have the HKS hyper exhaust. If is witch to the Kazuma will I feel less power than my current exhaust at low RPM's? Or will it feel the same and just get even more powerful at higher RPM's? yes, you can feel the hp gain when you're at higher RPM's, i was curious and thought that too loud is never too loud , so i bought the kazuma despite the kind words from these helpful guys. think twice...

1. The kazuma does provide better gains than any exhaust on the market.
2. You are generally not going to feel most mods. I just put on my TRD Extended exhaust, and I felt nothing. It's hard to feel 5 horsepower or so. I still think it's funny when people say they feel more power after they install alternator pulleys or grounding wires. Seems to be a case of mind over matter.
3. What the hell did you expect buying an exhaust with no resonator? To anyone else who is considering buying a kazuma, just unbolt your exhaust at the rear axle, and drive around like that for a day or so and see if you like it or not. Should be just as loud as the kazuma.

Yeah i had the kazuma and i couldnt take it.. so i got a magnaflow cat, res, and muffler just welded into the TRD pipe, so i sill have the tip and most TRD piping. Now it sounds perfect, probably not much gains but it sounds perfect!

I didn't even read any of the replies and I will say this to all. If you can feel 5, 10, or even 15 WHP then you are part of the Matrix. The worst things I heard were about AEM pullies and ground kits "making a difference". What a joke on those and a waste of money unless every single HP needs to be added up for a race engine and race car. The Kazuma does in fact make more HP. It can't be silenced. Either live with the better gain and noise or get rid of it for something more civilized with some less HP.

Screw the sound I'm getting it anyways.
I do have a few questions about the welding though. I pretty sure that the Celi has 2 resonators on the stock exhaust shoudl I have them welded on to the Kazuma pipe? And if so how will it change the hp.?
I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.

And if so how will it change the hp.? If you weld resonators onto the Kazuma, then you might as well just buy the TRD exhaust, because it's gonna be almost the same thing. It would be IMPOSSIBLE to weld two resonators onto a straight pipe without somehow changing the direction of the pipe by welding more pipe on, unless you want to weld on custom resonators, because the stock ones will not fit on a straight pipe without modification.

When equipped with a silencer, it is still not legal. Took this from Missouri (where I live) state law, and it should be similiar around the country... 2. Muffler cutouts: Muffler cutouts shall not be used and no vehicle shall be driven in such manner or condition that excessive and unnecessary noises shall be made by its machinery, motor, signaling device, or other parts, or by any improperly loaded cargo. The motors of all motor vehicles shall be fitted with properly attached mufflers of such capacity or construction as to quiet the maximum possible exhaust noise as completely as is done in modern gas engine passenger motor vehicles. Any cutout or opening in the exhaust pipe between the motor and the muffler on any motor vehicle shall be completely closed and disconnected from its operating lever, and shall be so arranged that it cannot automatically open, or be opened or operated while such vehicle is in motion. As you can see, a vehicle without a muffler (resonator) equipped is not street legal. Even if the vehicle was legal, with the silencer, the kazuma is no where close to being legal sound-wise.

thanks for all the great feed back , but I don't think I've got my answer yet. OK, back to the topic, what is the best way to silence my kazuma? If I reset my ECU, I will get more power gain? if so, how do I do that? thanks

It's a good idea to reset your ECU after any mod you install that adds horsepower.
You can either disconnect the negative battery terminal for five minutes or so, or pull the ECU fuse.
