Does anyone else's A/C seem to take a long time to cool the air in your car? It's starting to get pretty hot here in OK and it seems like my A/C takes an extremely long time to cool the air. I'm guessing it takes anywhere from 7-10 minutes for cold air to start blowing and that's after I've been driving for a while. I live in OK and the summer months here are not friendly on cars. The air is hot and humid (as my CAI will tell you

) so it's only natural that the A/C will take longer. However, I owned a Saturn SC-2 before my Celica ad everything about that car was crap except the fact that my car cooled off in about 90 seconds.
Is this a problem for other people and should I get it checked out? I know a lot about cars but I know jack about the A/C; besides I know they can be worked on by a professional only.
