The one with the white strip is negative ... although it really doesn't matter because a car is DC anyways.

hey i have a switch with three prongs. What fuse do i run the wire that is hooked to the acc. prong to? When a swich has 3 prongs that means it lights up when on. The neon tube power wire is suppose to be connected to the acc prong. The power prong is connected to the fuse. I would recommend using the fuse that is on the bottom row last one to the left, which is the cig lighter fuse.

that's what I have been wanting to do...need to put the power source for the neons at a different location. It is on the battery I don't want it there.

I get all my power from the fuse box. Its very safe and you don't have to cut into your wires.

ok, so I just need the power switch's wire to go to the fuse box. Now what fuse should I put it to and do I need any adapter like you have? Cause I don't know what to use or can I just like slip it under the fuse part?

put it on the cig lighter fuse, you need a "add-a-fuse" to do this. You can pick up a mini at pep boys for $12.00 and it will come with the extra fuse you need to protect the neons. You put the original 15 from the cig lighter in the bottom slot and the new fuse in the top, I used the 10.

forgot to say that the add-a-fuse are the little black boxes that are coming out of Ks fuse box. And that the cig lighter fuse is the one on the bottom left of his photo.

I bought some blue neon rope or wire stuff and I am running it behind my AC controls so it glows a bright blue, but how do i make it where it kicks on at a certain time of night or when i turn on my lights? Or should I just wire it onto the ground wire i've run and the wire from the cig fuse i've run to so it would stay on all the time?

I would patch in to the fuse for the existing ac lights or something like that, so they came on as they normally would. On all the time would be pointless during the day.

Or just buy a 4-outlet extension for the cig lighter, hide it in the fuse box, and plug your neon in there. That's what I did.
Absolutely Red awesome canyon road hugger with impressive straight-line acceleration.

Well I got it done, I also ran a 6" blue neon that i had to take out of a plastic covering and put it in my ac controls. I had already put blue nylon covers on the bulbs, so now they are over taken, but thats fine, they were dull anyways. I appriciate all yalls help. Heres pics.. (I hope)
