Unfoutnely VA is teh gay and you cant tint ur front windows more than 50%. U can do the back 35%. I dont want an uneven look so i would do 50 all the way around. My ? is do you think its even worth it. It doesnt even look that dark. I coundnt find a celica w/50 but i found this nice m3 w/50 all around. the m3 is thumbsup btw.

my celica came stock with approx 50% tint.

in any case, it's not worth it as far as 'protection' (of inside items) is concerned. it is somewhat worth it as far as keeping some heat out of your car.

I think it depends on how illegal you go. I don't think places around here would scwabble over 20% instead of 35% however if there was 5% all the way around, well it's time to pay a little more for the sticker if you know what I mean.

It depends on what you're are going for. If its privacy or the cool-looking factor you are going for, then its worthless. It can be worth while if you trying the block the summer heat from getting into your car.

i had my car repaired and the body shop broke my back window.. i bought my car used 2002 GT and it had very dark silver tint. And they cant find anyone to tint the replacement window for me with silver any ideas on what i could do?? and yeah 50 percent is way not worth it..

50% is a total waste. It's going to actually look stupid it'll be so light.

Tint it 35%. Cali only allows 70% up front, and I've never been hassled about my 35%. thumbsup

haha you're worried about anything less than 50%? I've got 5% here in cali and the cops don't even mention it when they pull me over and when I get off with warnings. Is 5% worth it? Sure it is, like when you got a hot date and she wants you to show her your skills, but not worth it if you don't got any.

rofl That's what a HOUSE and your BEDROOM are for. 5% looks sick during the day, but I like seeing the road at night.

i have 50% front and 20% rears and i think it works out fine. but since you dont want the "uneven" look then 50% all around would be weaksauce. So does that M3 have 50% all around??? On my car 50% looks much darker maybe because i have the rear windows all 20% so there isnt as much light inside the car. Its doesnt look uneven really and actually any tint on the fronts is illeagal in CA so most people roll around with only the back three tinted. Now that's an uneven look.

what's wrong with his statement? 5% is D-A-R-K. (technically--that's limo tint). i have a friend with this and he has to roll down his windows also...and you can forget about backing up out of a parking lot at night without sticking your head out of the window.

many times (unless the cop is super bored) a cop won't pull you over for having dark tint. BUT, if you get pulled over for something else (such as speeding, running redlight, etc) the tint will be an add-on ticket.

eh... I got 5%0 cause i have to keep it legal or i will lose my license till im 18 (2 speeding tickets). For the tint factor its not really going to do much. But it really helps to keep out the sun and keep the heat down. And just for that reason i think its worth it.

Every time you go for inspection they dont check? Mabey 35 in back and 50 up front would look better.
