You fail.

A) Your parents have to buy your Turbo.

B) It's auto. Have fun getting it replaced when it breaks (which it will).

C) You can't spell the word Turbo. Honestly...

I would tell your parents to spend their money on some English classes for you, rather than a go-fast setup that WILL cause your problems that you will not know how to fix down the road.

jeeeezzzz louise...give the guy some credit. Man if he can talk his parents into getting a Turbo then he must be good. What'd he say?: "With a Turbo I can get to and from school faster so I can spend more time studying!!! lol" or "I'll give you 50% of the money I make from street racing! Deal?" hahaha... or "You want grandkids, right? I'll finally be able to get a girlfriend since she'll like my fast car and overlook the fact that I'm ugly and can't get any otherwise!!!" j/k on the last one I don't know if you're fugly! thumbsup Good Job. thumbsup

Ok, I'm trying to help you out Chinaren:
List of items to negotiate for:

1. Engine Build w/ pistons and sleeves and rods, valves, etc.
2. Stick conversion with C2gas bulletproof tranny.
All because of ...
3. C2Gas Stage 3 kit.

It's a one package deal sort of thing...you need everything.
Ignore the haters, you're rich and don't be ashamed of it and all that money will one day be yours.
cheers deal

Oh and don't worry if you blow your car up...they'll get you a new one.

i was under the impression that autos were slightly better with Turbos over manuals since they are able to stay in boost longer?

and if you rebuild the internals, lower the compression down into the 8 range. that way you'll be able to get more charge into the cylinders.

stop picking on him guys, at least he is trying to learn english, i would say go with c2power stg1 kit sence you have a stock car and shit, i have heard of c2power and so far he is okay, but he is over seas. other Turbos are the xs Turbo charge, but they only have them for GTS, then there is SF but i heard they take for ever to ship it to u, thats all i know. you should just get ur custom made i guess search around ur area and see if any one can custom make you a Turbo, a friend of mine was doing that but havent heard from him, good luck and if you need anything else p/m me (private message)

Before you get all mad, you will notice that I nit-picked his english skills BEFORE he said that he was from China. All that I knew was that his location tag says Washington, so get over it.

Auto GT-T doesn't make sense though.

Wei, convince your parents that you need a manual transmission conversion to extract optimum Performance from your Turbo. Oh yeah, and learn English, but keep the accent. American girls love foreign accents! thumbsup

Wei, at least you're better looking than William Hung. I don't need to look at you to know that. rofl

Hey: You guys, thank you so much for all your help and advises , i will surely consider them, and decide what i am going to do with all that money. I think for me, look of the car is not that important, speed is what i am looking for. But if i still have some money left after my engine swap or update, i will put them into the look of my car. Again i am very appreciated your ideas!

LOL smile I don;t get the fuckin point bout auto's .. so half of the US citizens doesn't know how to drive stick or what ? in Holland you can't get you're license driving an auto.. only if you have some illness or some special reason why you can't drive stick.. then you'll have to ask permission from the national govermant to go on a special automatic car exam wich gives you a special license wich states explicitly that you are only allowed to drive an auto.. if they catch you in a stick they impound the car and give you a fine for NOT having a license to drive that car.. what's the deal with auto's :S :S :S :S :S:S:S:S:S:S:S:S I can understand if you're like 50 and retired and are not into speed or Performance or anything just into lazyness and luxurary... then I can imagine getting an auto.. but why the hell will you get an auto if you want Performance in the first place :S maybe you guys should think 10 more secconds (after the 5 in wich you decided to get an auto) to think about why you should get an auto or why not.. or why a stick or why not.. then you wouldn't have had this problem.. also those people converting an auto to stick.. come on guys.. that's like buying a plane and afterwards think I'd rather had bought a boat.. so let's convert my plane to a boat :S come on :S same thing :S THINK before you buy ! sorry If I may sound rude wink

well sure, but I wouldn't stop at the Turbo and forget about all the little things you can do that add up to make your car faster...like 9 lb rims for example.

So many Turbo GT. I have GTS and so far all the trubo kits have had problems most liekely cause of the compression ratio. So if someone doesn't figure it our soon I gonna have to go GT and trubo the mutha. But I dont think i could live without lift!!!!!!!!!!So screw GT i staying GTs. I'll just have to wait for a good kit.

Well SaddY, here we have the freedom to choose what we want. Our government doesn't control all aspects of our life. Some people choose to buy an automatic, and since you have obviously never been in one you have no idea of the advantages.

You just have to find low compression pistons. You are shooting for about 8 to 1.

if you have an auto you should get a supercharger cause it will help more down low but since they don't make a supercharger for the gt with out having to get a different hood with they don't make. just get NO2 or the Stratford Turbo

Lift/VTEC and whatnot are NOT compatible with high boost Turbo applications. Lift will mess up the powerband, imagine it hitting three times as hard, but dissapearing in half a second. You'll go from lift engagement to the next gear instantly. It's better to have a linear and predictable powerband than one which slams at the end.

so what the fuck, i don't understand any of you guys, would a Turbo work on a gt-auto? and if not what the hell would fuck up in the car and would there be any way to keep it auto w/ a Turbo and drive perfectly fine?

they make GTI's Turbo and Stock, as well as SRT-4's so why wouldn't we be able to do it w/ a celica?

and hkysk8r86, you can put a Turbo on an automatic car and it most likely won't kill anything. thumbsup

Do you want a medal or something? Your not getting the point! I got my auto because it was a demo and saved 3 grand off of what I would have paid. No body here was asking for your comments of why we have autos and that we should have gotten a stick in the first place. This thread is about Turboing an auto.

LOL...with a Turbo auto GT you might be able to keep up with me in the 1/4 mile. if your gonna pay the money to get Turbo then it would be dumb not to do a tranny conversion to manual. and while your doing that you might as well get the 6speed tranny.

was....5speed with i/h/e

300HP auto is still faster than a 140HP standard.

if you are filthy rich, do the full engine swap and tranny swap with the Turbo, otherwise just Turbo the auto, you'll still be faster than most cars on the street out there.

and for those of you hatin' on autos, maybe you should think about, maybe these people got their autos cus they got their car from their parents(like me) and you know how old people are

i've never heard of a single Turbo that will boost a GT up to 300 hp...but i do belive, say a 217 whp sf Turbo gt auto can kill a 140hp 5 speed...those 4 speed autos got large gears and with all that boost...it may have the advantage over a lower hp manual tranny.

Auto GT-T doesn't make sense though.

Maybe Not a Stock auto , but more then 50% of drag cars are now using automatic setups. With new interventions like Audi's setup in there Turbo. The Auto's are calculating quicker shift times then then the best manual drivers. If he can afford a Turbo , I'm sure he can afford some type of management system for his auto.

Haha rofl rofl

I once heard that a gt manual could rape a gts auto... Get the drift? Auto_ (how can I say this nicley) are pointless? My opinion is that you willn't get the gains that you would be expecting. Maybe a supercharger would be better for an auto? Save your money boys and get a 3S-GTE engine swop!

you do realize the GTS has about the same power (actually a little less torque) as a GT up until it hits lift.
so a GTS auto wouldn't redline all the way so it would be a close race.

but for a car with all that power throughout the powerband; it won't make that much of a difference if it is auto or manual.

well looks like the gains from that are still better than the TRD supercharger.

but with the A/F mixture going all screwy like that, maybe a powerFC is in whoever posted that's future.

since it looks like you're getting an SF Turbo as well. are you doing a full engine rebuild, or are you gonna use stock internals?

I'm gunna try run it stock at 6psi so i don't even risk blowing anything.

Than after i get abit more money im gunna get crower rods and forged pistons, so i can run like 12psi.

But from what i've been reading i could prob. boost it to like 8psi and still get away with it without hurting the engine all that much but i'd rather take it on the safe side.

But in the end ill end up buidling the engine up more mainly pistons and rods so i can run a high psi.

From what I have read, waste gate malfunctions are common. If you are running stock compression, it would be instant death for the motor. I'd recommend waiting until the motor is built.

waste gate off the SF kits? I Figured out that Crower Rods are the way to go but what do you recommend for pistons?

Wiseco Pistons. You can custom order any compression ratio your heart desires... Piston Rings: totalseal.com . Great ws name, huh? Lisa Kubo, that FAST female racer, uses http://totalseal.com piston rings.
