is the one on nopi actually LSD? i thought i was like some sort of attachment you could put on there to somewhat simulate a real one ( i know that sounds stupid) cause the only two LSD's i've seen have been like $899.99 and up...

for stock daily driving you don't need a Limited Slip on our cars it's pointless.

If you were driving a corvette with over 480+hp with a detroit locker on the rear end that would be worth it.

It is NOT worthless...I wish I could get one. However, that would mean that I would have to move up a class in Auto X. I am STS now and they don't allow LSD. GAR!!!!

It distibutes torque to the drive wheels differently than the stock open differential.

lsd doesn't let one wheel spin alone. when it feels a wheel spin it locks up and makes both front wheels spin at the same time with the same power not letting you lose traction by haveing one lonely wheel spin. great for hole shots.

I would get an LSD but the only one worth getting is the Quaife Helical LSD which costs $1000, not including install. If I'm going to spend money on something I'm going to get the best; not compromise in the short run and lose money down the road. If you are only interested in drag, your money is much better spent on a set of good drag radials for launching. BFG's are good but now I've heard more than one person tell me a blowout story so I'm not so sure if I should get them. There could be issues because I have a friend in Vegas who said he was driving his truck down the strip with new BFG g-forces' when the sidewall of one completely gave out, and he had to fight to stay in control. The PowerFC costs $1000 (not including Datalogit) and the Quaife costs $1000. Between the two I would get the PowerFC and that's what I did. It just arrived Tuesday but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. grin

and it didnt seem very hard either... it was just placing this U shaped link between the gears and placing pin through the hole, to hold the lsd on...
