Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Black Celica owners!

Since at times it seems like the black celi are the hardest to get to flow and to get the colors to match and look good I made this forum. I was wondering what kind of color scheme they have for their interior. Also what lights, rims, spoiler, neons, etc. you have.

black being the hardest to match??
Every color in the rainbow looks good with black...pick a color that you like a lot and go with it. What year celica do you have? Cause the 03 have black interior and that would be a tad easier to deal with than the gray for the 00-02.

i went with a black color scheme, being my car is black i like black with black.

TRDGTS014 its just sometimes that you have to try and find a balance between other colors and the black.

i have green turn signals front and back and front bumper lights are green.. plan to get green or black neon underbody with the mirrors so it shines more.. and interior is black with some silver..cloth on seats is black with green sateen

white and black

I think a black car with red accents would look nice...but just dont go over board with it

I had white engine plastics, blue footwell neons, red out tails, White TRD graphics with white tribal flames down the sides, white dash plastics, white face gauges (blue at night), black seat covers with white dragons (got them at walmart, cheap as hell but looked nice for a while), and thats about it. As you can see I went for a white and black theme, the high contrast was really sharp.

i see...I don't have a black celi so I won't butt in.

i'm going with a black/red exterior and black/blue interior, only cause red neons would make you convulse at the wheel

Silver and black?

black and plaid or black and polka dot. j/k i'm doing black and gray/silver. monochromatic. easy since i don't want too much attention...yet.

i think black flows well with other colors, just dont over do it

my black celica has black/gray interior. i really like it alot. i like a little bit more contrast than the black only interior had

what's the best wax (carnuba?) that will polish out swirls and scratches on a black celi??????? i'm finally understanding why black is so hard to keep clean and get that liquid glassy look...

I'm a sucker for black and silver. I have Enkei RS6 18"s in silver; silver Enkei graphics down on the rocker panels; the interior sports aluminum diamond plate floor mats; a brushed aluminum dash kit; brushed aluminum gauge bezel; aluminum race pedals with footrest - very striking and clean look without looking too cartoonish. I'm really into the industrial/metallic look though. Looks 'edgy'.

My second choice would be a deep blue of some sort.

apparently when they order celica's at the dealership...they like black and silver. I think there are 3 black GT's there and 1 GTS in silver and another GT in silver. Yellow Matrix too!
