Hey all..just got this in the mail today!!!
Sooo excited. I know I've asked before...but I don't have a vice. Is there anything else that I could use or improvise with to get the caps off the stock shifter rod?

if you could drill a hole through a board you could get the same effect, cause you could put the shifter thru it then put on the piece sent to remove the caps.
Hope that works for ya

txs whatman...when you said that..realized i could just use some cinder blocks!
-bought a punch yesterday
-bought some white lithium all purpose grease
-getting car serviced tomorrow...
