How much do you think to rebuild an GTS engine? Cause I am thinking about put a supercharger or Turbo charger.

plan to spend at least 5k or more as my guess, between supercharger and install plus xtra for engine rebuild. prob like 1k or more.

turbo not sure, had a Turboed car in the past and got burnt w/ high repair costs, never again. personally... not worth doing either esp supercharged. not enough bang for the buck( about 40hp). put that money into a car that was meant to go fast, not to look pretty. i personally would suggest a older corvette. smile

you'll have to have lower compression parts put in...and with a Turbo or supercharger put in with it you are looking at probably right around the $8,000 mark for all of the parts and labor

Prepare to spend lots of money after the initial install... Turbos and Superchargers are a lot of work unless they are factory made. My cousin had a Camaro w/ a rebuilt engine that lived in the shop. She sold it after a couple years because she was sick of putting all her checks into a car. Now she drives one of those Supercharged Grand Prix GTPs, and loves it. No problems with it at all.

After the install just take extremely good care of your car. The a lot more maintenance with Turbos and SCs, so just be prepared to deal with all the extra maintenance and you shouldn't have many problems. I would strongly suggest getting a Turbo timer.

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!
