yes, that would work..but blue is hard to find (you most likely WON'T find it at wal-mart or targe). try going to an arts & crafts store. lol OR you could wait until christmas

just use the bulb covers. you take off the stock green or orange covers and replace them with the color of cover you want the light to shine. they are sold at various places. only one i know of is rjautoworks.com. check that website out

Films & bulb covers work great on red... but with blue it isn't the same cause the light (bulb) is kind of yellow... blue films and covers come out a "crappy cyan" If you want a "true blue" you HAVE to go for neon. https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f_1869870766_0_collapsed_5__1.html#1869870766 Or even better: LED's (you don't have to cut the black plastic -for neon fittment- in the AC panel).

this is true for everything BUT the A/C panel. you cannot take out the led's for the a/c panel w/out breaking them..and then you have to order a whole new a/c panel from toyota because they don't sell the bulbs separately

I tried use film to make the light blue, but it didnt work well, it looks kind of green, because the light bulb is yellow. I think bulb cover would not work, either. I mean for blue.
