Hey my friend just got a 2003 eclipse gts and her boyfriend and i got on the interstate and we were cruisin, just seeing how responsive the eclipse was. Anyway, I just put an AEM Intake in my car and we decided to punch it and I was pulling on him but he had someone in the car with him. So which one of these would you think take the other? eclipse gts vs celica gts?

the celica will win for sure i raced a eclipse gts at the drags he had a Intake and exhuast and i bet him he was only doing 16.7 i was doing 16.5 and i have a GT

on a freeway u'll get spanked for sure.dat car has soo much more torque then our cars.its a different story when ur racing from a stop.

You obviously have never raced one on the freeway...or the highway for that matter. Or any long stretch of road. Like an interstate maybe. Well I have. Celica pulls harder. Now, not MUCH harder. However, hard enough that you whoop it's ass.

Well, its a 5-speed eclipse gts stock. I dont know about the start cause its got way more torque that the gts celica. I think they rate it something like 210hp w/ 205 lbs torque. i mean its a 3.0 V6. I was pulling on him on the freeway, but he had my 200lb brother in the car with him so thats what im wondering. I dont know, maybe i need to just get him in the car, stop on rt288 and just punch it cause when it gets late, no one is on that road. Or, maybe rather take it to the track and test the ol 1/4 mile...
