how much are you willing to spend? JL, Pioneer, and alpine are always good.

I loved my setup... before my car more or less 'sploded. rofl

Main system:
Infinity Kappa Perfect front components ($300 or so)
Infinity Reference rears ($100)
Panasonic 8400 deck ($320)

Bass:
2 Rockford Fosgate 10" HE2 subs
701S amp

JL audio is top of the line... but very costly. If you have the money, go for a JL sub powered by a JL amp. Otherwise, Rockford is my #2 choice.

JL's amps arent the best on the market anymore. You can find better amps to push their subs with new features and technologies. But yes get JL subs if you can.

i got hooked up with a pair of jbl 6 inch coaxles, extra tweets, wirings for my 8inch JLs in a box, and a 600 watt rockford amp for 300 bux! And plus he installed everything for me. We took out my back seats and just placed the box there. Good thing the owner of caraudioimage is cool with me grin

JL is the best commercial audio company. There are better amps out there, but they're also a lot harder to find. Like Zapco amps.

Hardcore screamo, huh? Not too much bass, but a lot of clarity, so you don't need monster power. I would go with Audiobahn subs. Powerful and still very affordable (I know how well McD's pays). For speakers, try MB quart premium. Kinda expensive, but some of the best sound quality I have heard in speakers. Or you could go Alpine speakers and amp, they make excellent products as well. My friend got a pair of Alpine 6.5s and he loves them. thumbsup

JL is good, but Harman Kardon is better.

Home of JBL, Infinity, Revel, Audioaccess, Lexicon, Mark Levinson. They make some of the best stuff on the planet.

I just bought some CDT Audio Speakers for my car. My HD-62Z Front components are awsome, they have tons of midbass but you have to do lots of work to get them to fit. I highly recommment CDT audio even if most of you havent heard of them. Here are a few pics of my install.

I like kenwood head units, but pioneers give a lot for cheap. Id only use kicker amps and speakers.

I Just got my system and i can say that the best componet speakers you can get are Focal. They are a little spendy but well worth it. They range from $199 to $1000 for a set. I got front and rear for about $500 dollars and they sound great. For everything else alpine is good
