I Have a 2001 Celica GT Auto. and the key has gotten stuck in the ignition. It won't even turn fully off, it stays with the radio on. Does anyone have any Ideas.

Sorry but this is just funny Is the car in Park? Try moving the steering wheel left and right while trying to take the key out, make sure you are pushing the key in and give it a little pressure while trying to twist it out. Other than that I dunno

In the meantime, disconnect your battery terminal so your battery doesnt die if it has been sitting on for a long time

keep playing with the steering wheel and trying to turn the ignition off. if it doesnt work, start it up then try turning it off.

Try pushing the brake and jiggling the keys. Sometimes everything needs to be lined up right: tranny, wheel, brake, etc. It happens. Then again, i've turned my car off with the transmission in drive.

Go get some Vaseline or some KY and lube it up! I do this when I get my "key" stuck in the "ignition".

disconnect the battery, and call a locksmith...dealer will charge you insane amounts of cash...a locksmith will fix it, and charge you $20.00
