alright i want the adr gtsport rim (17") and i heard that ADR tends to be a little heavier. I was wonder how big of a difference in speed and Performance the weight of your rims makes.

Its part of the complete rotating mass & part of the mass of your vehicle. It probably makes a big difference.

look at it this way..even if adr makes comparatively heavier wheels than other racing rims..it's probably still lighter than your stock wheels (unless you have the gt 15s in which case the g-sports will weight slightly more).

diameter does have a little to say about how fast you can spin your tirs (and therefore accelerate) but weight plays a more important role. if you lessen your wheel weight, then the less power is lost through trying to spin your wheels (which is good).

as usual, www.wheelspecs.com [wheelspecs.com] doesnt have the weights for you tires and my google searched turned up nothing more than "a lot". sorry i couldn't help you more
