I know this is probably a stupid question, I have a stock Celica, and i want streetglows. Just wondering if it would be stupid to install streetglows under it, and if i did would the tubes be visible from just looking at the car. Thanks

the might be visable. atleast the side ones. . . . im sure the back and front wont be.
its illegal in any state i think to "see" the neon tube, but we all know the whole legal issue on colors. .
i'd just wait to get a body kit and then put em' on. .. but you can do either

IMO neons are cool, but should be the LAST mod you do to a cars exterior. i.e after a drop and a body kit and rims

I have a the Varad ULX300 LED kit on my car and it's basically stock. I have few mods but I don't have a bodykit. I think it looks fine and with the kit I have you can't see the light sticks. You should definitelfy find out first what the laws are where you live. I live in OK and I've been pulled over twice because my kit is multicolor and I have been told that it is only illegal if the lights are flashing blue or red for obvious reasons. Any other color is fine. I do it anyway just to piss them off and it continuously proves my point that the cops here have nothing better to do.
Surprisingly enough, OK is pretty liberal when it comes to car mods. We can drive with neons on (other than blue or red) and we can have 25% tint here.

does anyone have an led kit instead of the neon gas tubes? if so have you had any problems whith them, and how do they look? just asking because i think i want to that way so that the chance of them breaking and going to the trash is reduced [/color]

Like I said I have the Varad LED kit and I love it. I've had the same kit on 2 seperate cars in 1-1/2 years and I've never had problems with it. It still looks as good as the day I bought it and the bars are virtually unbreakable (trust me ). It was a bit pricey (about $350) but I'm not stuck with one color and they last longer.

if you want to install them I say go for it! You won't be able to see the bulbs if you install them properly. Who gives a shit if it's the only thing you've done to your car, it is your car after all. If you like it, do it.
