Has anyone else out there had their clutch go??? Im stranded in east buttfuck Oklahoma cause i think the jerks who worked on my car for two weeks ( I had that VVT-i thing fixed on my car) i thought two weeks seemed like a long time. Has anyone else had to get a new clutch for their Celicas? If you have anyone recommend any racing parts since im getting it fixed anyway? They quoted me $644, is that good or bad?

depends on what kind of clutch you are putting into it.

Seems about right.
And since you have a GTS, I think you mean VVTL-i.

Do it myself? What???? I dont have the $10,000 worth of tools it takes to do that TSB. You must be a mechanic or something. They had to pull the engine out to fix what it was that was wrong. Anyhow I dont have a garage or anyting to do the work, one of the drawbacks of living downtown in a city.

Yah, that's a good price. It doesn't take that many tools. You can do it yourself if you have the time.

As for the clutch, leave it to the pros.

Lift bolts is simple, just pull the head cover off, unscrew bolts and place the cover back on. The clutch, take it to a tranny place.
Better yet, save up for an aftermarket clutch, buy it then take it to a tranny place and just have them do the labor.
Their are many ways to do this...

Has anyone in here ever looked at the how to part of the TSB located on this web site? Its 17 pages long. Maybe doing it the half assed way is the way you treat your car, but hey when daddy buys your car who cares right?
