Go below, and click on the blue question mark next to Aluminum Gear Knob to see a side pic... http://66.139.73.25/carconfig/I wonder if you have to buy the whole assembly, or if the knob unscrews? I think it unscrews, but I could be wrong. Diablo seems to be the Elise expert, so maybe he knows.

Probably cheaper to have a machine shop make you one.

ugh, i'm not a fan of the sideview...looks a bit too long for my taste..i'd like it better if it was just a globe.

it's the same tranmissions as the celica, but I'd be VERY surprised if it was the same linkage type system...since the cables have to run to the rear of the car.
Hideous shift knob though in a Celica, there isn't any AL in the interior...
The stock GTS knob looks better.

The stock GTS knob looks better. Well, I painted my Center Console, and the plastic surrounding the shifter black, so I wanted something round and chrome looking for a shifter, and was leaning towards the B&M shifter, but since I saw this one, I have to have it. Kinda matches the pedals if you look at the car from the outside. But anyways, if anyone knows any more info about this knob, and if it will fit in our car, please post here. Thanks.

^^ ditto.
i have the b&m knob (on my b&m shifter) and it's been pretty much untouchable for any period of time over 2 seconds since it's summer now.
it's not all THAT bad though...but then again don't even think about driving with your hand on the knob

I would bet my $1 on Lotus using the same size diameter shifter rod as in the celica, however, I could be wrong.
You'd have to get a look at underneath the shift boot to figure it out.
have you thought of painting the numbers on your shift knob with silver paint?
I did that to mine, makes a ton of difference
