Has anyone heard of the Hayame Exhaust?? There is a place on the internet that is selling it. It looks like it is catback, and therefore would be pretty loud and put out good hp numbers thumbsup. Let me know.

I have only heard from a shop owner that they sound nice and give good Performance and that he has them on all his cars including a 12 second all motor civic. I haven't heard them myself.

I remember a while ago someone was talking about it. It was a real long time ago though. Do you guys think it would be worth the purchase or not? Should i just stick with kazuma?? Thanks.

Dude just get the TRD if you want Performance, If you just want attention from people then get a Trash can muffler. Rice it out.

who needs a catback? Get a shop to do a couple of mandrel bends on practically a straight pipe, weld on a Performance muffler like magnaflow, and you save $300 for the same gains if not more. Some catback aftermarkets are awefully twisty. Catback = charging too much in shipping costs for a metal pipe (unless Ti or Stainless) and charging enough to cover advertising costs and to make a profit. If you think stainless pipe looks good, spend your money since you obviously like looking at your car while it's on a lift. But IMO expecting your celica's underbody to look good too is like expecting a supermodel's asshole to look nice...maybe but not necessarily so depending on what you like to look at. Sure if you're rich and can afford the Tanabe Ultra Medallion, by all means get it to save weight. But I'd rather spend $200 for a custom exhaust and then $550 on a NX nitrous kit that will give me more gains than the weight savings from a Ti catback. Worried about corrosion on the custom exhaust? For $50, have the shop treat the pipe with ceramic coatings that will also speed up the exhaust gas velocity, and you won't have to worry about rewrapping exhaust wrap after awhile, which you would have to do on your stainless steel or Ti exhaust for the same Performance effect (and btw defeating the purpose of having such a "pretty" exhaust pipe). LOL rofl
