That same problem happen to my car a few months ago, every time I started the car early in the morning when the car is cold, i heard a weird sound. I when to the dealer and they change the belt, after that, the sound is gone.

The belt tensioner is more of a squeal.

A whistle might be more serious. Could be your exhaust flange between your manifold & pipe. Not a big deal.

Could be if you have a stock airbox, the fastners have come undone & its sucking air through the sides.

Open the hood & rev the engine & listen & figure out where it is coming from.

^^^^^ as stated before, their are many threads on this. Mine did the same and simple look-see helped. Mine was the tensioner, tightened and lubed, all good.

If it was a whistle like air in a crack, check your engine.

Maybe someone stuck one of those 'make your car sound like it has a Turbo whistles' in your tailpipe when you weren't looking.

maybe its your Intake, have someone gas it lightly and you stand outside and listen to where its coming from, that would be your best bet to locate the problem.
