Took some work, but I got it installed!

This thing is awesome, pulsetouch is really something else. I show a few guys at work, and they were freakin out when it pushed back when they touched it.

I'm going to write up a very detailed install guide for car audio, at least for the GTS, because its a little tricky if your not used to the external amp that toyota has.

Anyway, I got it for $1,138, and then i got our 5 yr warrenty on it, and that was $160. I special ordered it from work (circuit city) and it took about 6 weeks to come in.

nice dude, my friend and I just put one in his tacoma. Did you install switches to over ride the video control?

Yeah, i installed a switch.


I'm actually going to Fiberglass over that openeing, and use a dremel and carve out the /////Alpine logo, and put a peice of frosted glass behind it, and then finally put a neon light behind that, so it glows at night.

yeah, i dont like the fingerprints either.

You actually cant notice them, unless the screen is off.


I might have to have a container of wipes in my car at all times.

my friend got sick of the pulse thing after like a week. nly thing I prefer about mine (clarion vrx935) as opposed to that one is that everything on that is touch screen. You don't have an option to use buttons, which kinda sucks. But overall its a really nice piece f equipment. Where did you put your switches? We installed his in the center console box.
