So this is some shit, last week or so i talked about how my engine was ticking and what not and how i brought it to toyota, they told me my warrenty is void because somebody put on an aftermarket oil pan and didnt change the factory screen/filter that was damaged for some time. i didnt have toyotas warrenty but i bought a 2yr 24000 mile one for like 2gs and it is worthless. i bought the car like that and it isnt covered?!?!?! wtf is that shit?! but they said i have to get a new engine now which is at least $4000. its just really shitty Im trying to make it so they refund me the 2gs for there bogus warrenty but my parents wont let that happen. they also said it was void because i didnt have proof of oil changes. all i had was 2 from jiffy lube that was at 70k and 80k but inbetween i did 2 myself  this is bs. Thanks for taking the time to read, what should i do?

Yeah, I'd lawyer up too if they won't fix it. Have your parents bitch at them and see if that gets you anywhere. They won't take kids seriously, and if your parents threaten to sue, then they will know that you mean business. As for an aftermarket oil pan...

Ha, you got ripped off on that warranty... When i bought my 2003 civic i got a 10year/100,000 mile warranty for 1g.
Then i got my celica and they refunded the warranty now i had mad money.
Get a lawyer bro!

its spelled auction... that sucks dude considering you paid 2k for a warranty... how does an aftermarket oilpan void a warranty? i kno that speed products dont void a warranty but an oilpan... wtf? juss say that you did all the oil changes urself since you dont have any proof... hope everything goes well

Try them at small claims court without a lawyer. It will only cost you your time off work & filing fees.
In the meantime buy a used motor & put it in yourself.

u can get a family member lawyer if you have one. fuck them about the oil change bs and fuck them about the oil pan. if they sold you the car like that, they will know it and you should do something about it. you know, some ppl prefer to do their oil changes because they love their cars and they like to take care of it cz they know noone can do a better job at it except the owner itself.

did ur engine light pop up before this happened? my car is making a clicking noise and it has around 38k miles on it i think its my belt but im not sure but did you had an engine light on and did it effect ur Performance?

If you can prove they sold the car that way, sue them.
If you can't, then you are fucked because it states in the warranty that failure caused by aftermarket parts is not covered under the warranty.

What they are doing is totally bogus. The dealership will nail you with small print, contracts, and details. You got a slim chance going against a dealership. Try for a lawyer anyway, but facts remain facts. Do the best, I guess.  Good Luck! We're all behind you!

Just got back from vacation and theres a messege on my machine...
Im delighted to inform you that the warrenty does cover your engine and the earliest it will be done is Friday by 5pm. so come on in and check up with us on Friday. Thanks again!
They had to wait for a person from the warrenty place actually come down and check it out etc.
and the orig problem was somebody did a cheap repair and replaced the oil pan and not the damaged filter.
Im just excited w000000000000000000t!!!!
