Just wanted to know some good rim sites. Been looking for some rims that are only 5 stud, not universal fit with a whole bunch of wholes in the middle. So if anyone can tell me some good sites that would be great. aight thanks.
www.tirerack.com [tirerack.com] (there are only about 50 choices for the celica..but they'll put a diagram of your car on the screen and you can switch out wheels on & off of it to see what looks best)
jeiger, your best bet is to use www.google.com [google.com] , wheelspecs.com does list a lot of wheels' weights..but not nearly all of them (maybe 20%, if that).
it also helps to search message boards to see if anyone has weighed the wheels you mentioned.
It's not like I'm racing it or anything, I just don't want to get stuck with wheels that weight more than stock and hurt the already lacking low end acceleration.
my experience has been that if you get 17" racing wheels they will be lighter than stock 16"s.
if you get racing 18s, they will be about the same weight or 1-3 pounds heavier.
this is just a rule of thumb..some racing brands (such as weld racing or centerline) make 19" wheels that are just as light as our stock rims (about 19-22lbs)
www.discounttiredirect.com [discounttiredirect.com] They might all be universal but im not too sure so i thought i would throw that in there. Nice prices though. That's where i got mine with free shipping.
