^^ lol bro, he's got 10 posts...most likely he doesnt know his way around the forums yet or even the site..just help out w/out the comment anyway, as already said its your cars computer. it's what checks everything and makes sure everything is running right. it does everything from checking to make sure you have enough oxygen in the air so your engine can run properly to making the seatbelt light flash when your not buckled up. the only ecu replacment for celica is the power fc..you should have learned a lot about it if you clicked the link which cycocelica gave you..it's basically a retuning module and is VERY helpful if you've had aftermarket modifications done AND a dynonameter.

as far as where it can be found...the pic below has the area circled in red. closer up, plastic piece says "do not open" but you can do so..i just wouldnt recommend driving your car while its not covered up..ESPECIALLY not in the rain.

haha sorry caleb just having fun...no harm intended
anyways the power fc cost you around 1000 bones so be prepared for that along with the maps and dynos and shti like that... as i see it i think its well worth the investment if you ahve the dough seeing as how Lucky got into the 13s with just that

not really..but it can be used as so.
both the blitz sc and the xs engineering Turbo come with the apexi power fc to help regulate things instead of the stock ecu.
