Anyone else had trouble removing the center caps off these rims? There is a slit for a flatblade or similar tool to be inserted and then used to pop cap off. Mine have been on for a year and will not "pop" out. I scratched my rim slightly trying to remove one of them yesterday to rotate tires. The cap is also plastic and the head of screwdriver I was using almost broke through the other side of the cap. I knew I was gonna have this trouble when I first installed them. They were hard to remove when they were new. I was wondering if Enkei made a tool for them that maybe I didnt get with the wheels or something.

take the wheel off and use the long end of a crowbar (or something similar) to pop the cap out from the other side.

or is that what you already did unsuccesfully?

how do you take the wheel off with the center cap on?

you just keep trying until it pops out.

at least that is what i did, and it worked.

I know it sounds like I dont know what I'm doing but the damn things wont pop off as easy as they should...it pissed me off because I scratched the rim with the screwdriver. Just gonna leave it for now when I get new tires the shop can pop them out hopefully.
