okay well has anyone installed components on their gts? does it matter that you are changing the two speaker setup to just one? like their will be a harness just sitting there does that matter? same with the tweeter if you wire the tweeter up from the crossover there will be an empty harness from the factory tweeter setup. my last question is how do you remove the stock woofer from the mount because im going to drill my woofer into the stock mount. if anyone can answer any of these question it would be a huge help thanks.

quick question for you. since you used thre same speakers as me, i asume you wired the tweeters up to the crossover, what did you do about the stock wire setup for it? just let it sit. also i see you used the stock speaker mount, thats what i plan to do. i know you have to drill the rivets out to remove the mount. but is the speaker glued to the mount? just rip it off?

yes leaves the wires there but tape off the ends and yes, poke a hole in the speaker and just start ripping, then you have to snap the plastic supports off to release the magnet, and you then fit the new one in there and it should sit perfectly
