So i was like really getting on my car on my way home from work... I was starting in 1st and when i floor it, its goes to about 6700 RPM's then seems to have a major power loss... I know most of the power is before 6800 but i was wondering if this is normal?

you might need a new clutch. When I messed up my clutch it did the same thing rpm goes crazy and very little power gain.

I agree with the warming up of your car. Do that and see if it still happens.

If it does it again, replace your fuel filter. Its cheap & you probably should do it anyway.

Buy those ramps that you drive your wheels onto. I think most auto parts stores should have them. thumbsup
