lowering springs are eventually going to wear out your suspension...but I can't think today so I have no clue what you're trying to say. [Linked Image from riccardovavassori.interfree.it]

I have Sportline which lowered the car 2". There is no need for camber kit. Save your money and use it for a good alignment. The cambers are fully adjustable on our cars.

I have the sport lines with stock GTS rims and I could tell that i need a camber kit. With big rims, the negative camber is less noticeable.

When I did the alignment, I had my 15's. It is not how noticable it is, it is the correct alignment. The shop gives you a print out of your aligment setting before and after. Make sure your numbers after the alignment are close to stock spec. This is why i said to save your money for a GOOD Alignment. If you still have a lot of negative camber, your shop didn't do a good job.

I had my alignment done by GoodYear Certified Tire and they do a great job with my car. They did correct my rear camber, but not to stock specs. You cannot get your alignment put back to 0 angle of negative camber with sportlines.

yes. but -.1 camber doesn't justify the price of a camber kit. I just had my tires rotated... i don't see any uneven wear on the inside...I had the sportlines for two years, and these rims and tires for over a year. If there is a problem, would you think the tires would be worn out? Plus, slight negative camber is better for handling..

You didn't notice any uneven wear on the inside because you just use your tires for daily driving right? The excessive uneven wear on the inside occurs when you corner very hard putting extra pressure on the inside part of the tire.

So what's the original topic... setting for extreme driving or "Do I need a camber kit if i lower my car?"

In the event you do notice uneven tire wear and ugly negative camber, I suggest purchasing a set of camber links. If your tires aren't wearing unevenly, then spend your money on something else.

My negative camber is very noticeable. I do have slightly uneven tire wear on the inside only because I have been doing a lot of HARD cornering and probably because of my stiffer Hotchkis Street Sway Bars. God I love my Hotchkis Sway Bars.

Extreme driving and "Do I need a camber kit if i lower my car?" are issues related to each other and are worth discussing in such a topic. This information is very important to many celica enthusiasts.

Excellent point. If you drive your car hard, you would need more than just lowering springs and camber kit.
