wiesco makes em. the SF kit is much better then the XS kit.

and a 1.93L engine is way better for torque then a 1.8L engine smile

yeah, the 3zz stroker is a lot of money, and is gonna be a little rough on your engine, even if you buy lower comp pistons...and especially if you go with the SF Turbo kit!!!! You'll probably need reinforced gears too, to make sure you can safely get the power to the wheels...not to mention that its gonna be a whole ton of cash

3zz stroker kit will work just fine with Turbo or S/C.
since it doesn't change the characteristc or the engine, everything stays as same except that you get more torque and hp.
In fact Trial has the supercharger on their 3zz celica. And i think they are the fastest celica out there as of now.

I dont think so. grin (I'm not talking bout my car either)

**I'm sure they lowered the compression instead of raising it.

yeah, some of the bigger Turbo boys are running really really strong...C2gas is having his tranny re-worked to be able to handle his monster engine...and he's opening his last 2 gears because he can ONLY hit 150 mph as his highest speed rolleyes rolleyes eek eek (he just gets there without any lack of accelerating eek eek...pulls all the way)

For all I know the stroker kit raises the compression.
The last thing you want when going Turbo is raise the compression

nah, the stroker kit increases the stroke (or the length the piston travels in the cylinder)...not compression...compression has to do with pistons, and sealing of the engine

Ahum, when you change the stroke, the piston goes up further, and thus raising compression. raising compression means bigger chance on pre-detonation..
For Turbo you want low compression, not a stroker kit, maybe a bigbore kit

IMMO my friend, yes, technically you are right thumbsup thumbsup, but if you purchase lower compression pistons, and a lower compression (and very thick) copper headgasket (from EIPtuning.com) you will lower the compression enough to safely run boost...

Good point smile
Yes, if you buy low compression pistons you should alright.
But get new crower rods too..

What I heard from the guys from C2power is that the EIP copper head gasket is not good for running high boost on a GTS, they burned it out in 30 minutes...
The stock gasket hold up better than the EIP one..

O rings, or multi layer metal gaskets for forced induction, we learned this on the hard way a long before 1zz and 2zz.
