I've have a problem with my door locks since I removed door panels and handles for the car to be painted. If I try to open the door from the inside when locked it doesn't open like it is supose to. Then if I try to unlock it from the center console it will not unlock all the way nor can you force it manually unlocked. Then if you lift the outside handle the console button will unlock the doors. Thats the first problem.

The next problem is when you open the door from the inside it will not latch when you shut it. Once again you must lift the out side handle and it will work properly. If I disconect the rod inside the door to the handle every thing in the lock assembly fuctions fine. So anyone out there have a clue?
