when you buy a true TRD action pack spoiler, it will come with a plastic to mask it off. if i were you, i would that top brake light plastic off and get it paint it or take the light bulbs out...

yup, I got a plastic when I bought a TRD wing. I was going to mask it off, but decided not too. It looks pretty good with 4 break lights. thumbsup

Well, when I bought my TRD wing, when I went to hook up the 3rd brake light, the connector that was already in the back of the hatch didn't work, so I had to route the connector that was already connected to the third brake light, to the light on the spoiler.

Here's how you can unplug the 3rd brake light on the car.

1. Open the hatch.

2. Look up towards where the 3rd brake light is, and you should see a rubber grommet. It's just a rubber plug that keeps water away from your electrical connections. Reach in the hole that you unplugged the grommet from, and look for a connector. Unplug the connector, and you should be set.

Note, that in the kit that was supposed to come with your spoiler, there should be an adhesive piece of thin foam. You need to take that foam and wrap it around the connector that you just unplugged so that it doesn't rattle. Obviously, if you don't have the foam, just wrap it in something such as seran wrap. Just something to keep it from rattling.

Good luck.

Np.

It's been a while since I did the install, so my instructions may be a little hazy.

Post back, and let me know if that helped at all.

Now that I think about it, that may diable the 3rd brake light on the spoiler itself, because I think that there may be a link to the two lights via that connection. If it does, then just plug it back in and cover the light on your car. If you don't wanna use the cover that came with the kit, go to www.bluebatmobile.com [bluebatmobile.com] because he sells some vinyl covers that may look better.

Here's an install guide for the wing if you want to look it over...

Hey, if you still have you 4-brake light setup, take a pic! smile

I've been curious about how it would look, as I want to get a TRD spoiler!
