hi. i have a 1990 gt celica, and are planning to install a body kit/muffler. I am definitely plannin on gettin the muffler up and runnign before i get the kit put on. i am wondering if ne after market muffler would extend long enough so that it would be at least flush with my body kit rear bumper? btw, i am installing the shogun invader kit on my car.
just buy a universal muffler canister and put piping behind it. Go flex-pipe back or resonator back and you could make it stick out as much as you want. Not too many options when it comes to pre-made mufflers for our cars.
do you have the kit yet? kuz i have one for sale at a very good price. PM if interested.
or if you know anyone interested. thanks!
^^ and too answer your question, get anyone muffler you want, the opening on the rear of the back ground effects, are the right side, and can probly fit one giant muffler through it, (if you wanna be like a honda) but if it does stick out past it then get on a welded extention.
another good thing to invest in is the Monza Exhaust.
and i would have the kit on first kuz if your dont then you may have to bend the piping in the process of putting on the rear kit peice.
