I just bought my Tanabe Super Racing Medallion from AFS Motorsports... I was wondering if anyone has gotten pulled over because of their Tanabe? Thanks

yo i doubt ull get a ticket for it. your decibals range from 83-93 deicbals...whic i think 93 is the legall limit for exhaust...

cops dont care about the decibel level when they pull you over. They'll just see that you've got yourself a modified exhaust. They dont carry the equipment to test the decibel level so there's no way the could tell how loud it is. So when you see the red and blue lights in your rearview, its because they felt like pulling you over.

I have been followed, stared at and grined at by various local law enforcement officers for my TSRM. None however have pulled me over, I highly doubt they will pull you over. Just follow the posted speed limits and you should be cool.

Yep, it has that legal in 48 states thing. With the exhaust, you should get a paper explaining that it is legal and all. Just to be secure, you can stow it away in the car just in case.

its nto that meassure it due...u got papers backin you up...thats why if you got TRD exhaust and you get pulled over for exhaust...u can call up ur dealer and get the papers provin its under the legal decibal and tell the popos to SUCKKK ITTTT

I'm not saying that you cant avoid a fixit ticket. If you've gotta whip out the papers, you got pulled over and that's pretty damn annoying. I would have showed off my papers, but the cops let me go anyway. However, I did get lectured on exhausts.

I got my exhaust, its great, nice and deep. Smells like something's on fire... but, that's just because its new. I'm just gonna carry around my documentation showing that its legal... Although, I do think I'm a huge target for cops now... oh well...
