I just installed it today. To be honest with you guys, I am not impressed with it at all. My car sounds the same, and cant feel any gains. I dont understand why some people claimed that they actually felt that their cars accelerate faster and sound louder.

Anyway, I didnt buy this filter to improve Performance. My air filter was dirty, and my dealer wanted to charge me $25 to change it.--->INSANE.

Even a CAI only adds what, 5 HP at the very most? So I'm not surprised that you couldn't feel the drop-in...

Dude...anybody who tells you that they "feel" the difference from any bolt on mod is full of it...it's call butt dyno...and if you want the most amount of air Intake, spend the money and go Blitz SUS

i feel bad for you for spending 43$ on bs filter. you shouldve known it wont give you no gains and no noise. you wont get any noise of an Intake unless its open somehow. if you want some noise(temporary), open the airbox, leave the filter in it and turn on ur car and rev it.

K&N=TRD

TRD doesn't amnufacture it's own parts, it buys things from other companies and stamps the TRD logo on it. The TRD exhaust is made by Borla, the filter by K&N, the brakes by Stoptech.

Based on experience, you will only hear your Intake when you are either at WOT (or close to it) or when you turn the car off (it makes a sucking noise when you shut the motor off). Under full acceleration or whenever the throttle is completely open, you will hear a rumbly noise. It's sort of "chunky" when you just jab the throttle all the way down for a second (IE, rev-matching for downshifts).

Removal of the butterly makes it a little bit louder, but any Intake will make it much more noticable.

well if you have a bottleneck restrictive Intake it just makes sense that the filter won't help much following the "weakest link" principle. Get an Intake. Go TPR.
