Dude, all that is great, but the headunit is wired to an internal amplifier, located behind the glove box. Have any instuctions for wiring that? Otherwise all you can do is remove the headunit and that's pretty much it. No wiring harness will fit. I know this for fact with the GTS. GT owners, I don't know.

That's funny considering Crutchfield has wiring harnesses for GT's and GTS's ... they plug right into the stock harness from the back of the radio.

The only harnesses that aren't around are the ones if you want to bypass the stock amp completely. Then you have to wire splice them manually.

I have a 2000 and it did not have a harness to fit back there. I had a professional install the headunit. How can you wire up a headunit without bypassing the factory amp when the amp is providing the headunit with power?

wow thats all well and good but am i blonde or did that not say what SIZE speakers go in there lollol i have BIG plans for my system i want a custom box..(hey anyone have info on how to build your own with fabric and Fiberglass paint?) i have my head unit already i just haven't installed it yet but ok now i have a question...do you think 8's or 6's would fit in the rear panels? and i want to put a little bit bigger ones in the doors and replace the factory tweets (i dont remember that saying anything about tweets either...) my ampS will attatch to the box and maybe some on the ceiling like i said..BIG plans! my car is all stock (except for the antenna!!! laughsilly ) so help me out y'all thats why youre here! happywink happywink thumbsup

hey guys anyone know how to get bass blockers out of my car or where they are mounted, this is the problem, best buy installed my cd player and i guess put some kind of a bass blocker in when they installed the cd player. what really pissed me off was when i took it back they gave me a crap story about how they fixed it, the funny thing is that i still have to bass, any help would be appreciated.

See if your ATT (ATTENTION) button is pushed in. Beyond that, maybe drive to another Best Buy. Read your manual. Maybe it's not Best Buy. Maybe it is.
