I got my rims today and just put them on. I ordered them from Wheelmax...they are Exel TZ-7 17" Gunmetal with Federal SS595 215/45/17 tires. Does anyone know anything about these tires?

The pics aren't that great, it was already getting dark when I took these in my garage. I need to wash my car in the morning and take some better shots smile

Now I don't know if I should start saving up for a body kit or look into dropping my car a bit.

I wouldn't lower till you get your bodykit. After you have your body kit on you can get a better idea of how much you need to drop it.

HAHA, I have the EXACT same rims. I love em too. But I got a black celica, oh well. They're hella tight. Good choice.

looks good, actually i was going with the same size tire/rim, tell me how it rides. i am lowering mine this week 1.8" they only have gunmetal color for the rim i want, but i am not too sure about it on a silver car. i have not committed to anything yet, so it is not too late

So far I've only driven about 50 miles on the new tires. I've definitely noticed that the ride is a lot rougher at higher speeds (over 70mph) than the tires I had on the stock 15" rims. I haven't taken any sharp/quick turns yet, so I'm not sure how well they grip the road.
