hey guys i was recently at button willow raceway and they had some 110 octane there at the pump. I was seriously considering using it but i was concerned about any damage it might do to my 1zz motor. what woulda happened if i used the 110?? the lowest they had was 91. thumbsup

IMO, slower burning fuels actually transfer slightly more power to the piston. Methenol is good stuff too! I use Ultra 94 which is 10% methenol. The Performance difference is noticeable. thumbsup

Not really. Octane is the measurement of a fuel's ability to resist knocking. When you compress a fuel too much it ignites & either makes your engine knock or detonate. Higher octane can prevent this. So if you have a really high compression motor, 100 to 110 octane may be the only fuel you can use. But in a regular motor, it won't make any difference. So its just a waste of money.
